What is regenerative medicine and how does it work? Regenerative medicine uses your body’s own cells — primarily fat-derived stem cells — to stimulate healing, reduce pain and restore function of joints, tendons, skin and soft tissues. The goal is to help your body heal itself naturally and often avoid major surgery.
Who performs these treatments? Our team consists of two highly qualified specialists:
– A plastic, aesthetic, reconstructive surgeon as well as a
– A trauma surgeon and certified manual physician
Both are additionally certified phytotherapists (use of plants and their extracts for medicinal purposes).
Together, they combine over 35 years of experience in conservative and surgical treatments.
Which conditions do you treat? We offer therapies for:
– Joint repair (including ankles, shoulders, knees, practically all joints are treatable)
– Scar healing
– Skin rejuvenation
– Soft tissue volume restoration
– Post-traumatic or post-surgical corrections
What is the Lipogems® procedure? Lipogems® is a minimally invasive, FDA-approved procedure that processes fat harvested from your own body and reinjects it into areas that need repair, such as damaged joints.
It is widely used around the world — including the U.S. military.
Lipogems® procedure video? Videos are available on the official Lipogems® website and on our “Therapies” page.
What joint conditions or arthrosis can be treated? It does not matter whether the affected joint has been damaged by wear and tear, injury or chronic inflammation. The activated self-healing process can reduce pain and promote joint repair, restoring mobility and resilience for everyday life and sports.
Which stages of arthrosis can be treated? The Lipogems® procedure can potentially relieve pain and improve function, particularly in mild to moderate osteoarthritis (grades 1–3). However, studies and our experience show that it can also be effective in more advanced cases (grade 4).
Why not use stem cells from bone marrow? The stem cell yield from adipose-derived stem cells is reported to be up to 500 times higher than that from bone marrow, and harvesting body fat is less painful and less risky.
How long do regenerative procedures last? In the best cases, patients experience continuous and long-lasting improvement, often lasting for years. The treatment can be repeated if necessary.
Is general anesthesia required? No. Most of our procedures are performed under local anesthesia, allowing you to return home the same day. These are outpatient (ambulatory) treatments, meaning no hospital stay is required.
How long is the recovery time? Most patients can resume light activities immediately. Recovery is generally faster than after traditional surgery, thanks to the minimally invasive nature of our treatments. Sports are usually permitted after about six weeks.
What are the risks or side effects? Since we use your own fat and blood, the risk of rejection or allergic reaction is extremely low. Minor swelling or bruising at the donor and treatment sites is common but temporary.
Is this treatment suitable for everyone? We perform an in-depth consultation to determine your eligibility. Factors such as your medical history, the severity of your condition and your treatment goals are all taken into account.
Am I too old for adipose-derived stem cell therapy? There is definitely no such thing as being ‘too old’ for treatment with adipose-derived stem cells.
How much do these treatments cost? Costs vary depending on the procedure. You can request a free quote by filling out the form on our website or by contacting our team directly.
How can I book a consultation? You can contact us in several ways:
